Poet's Walk
Our mountain pathway is a stunning spot to pay homage to Deià´s literary links. At intervals along the beautifully planted route, you´ll spot impressive granite columns which are a creation of our artist-in-residence, Juan Waelder. Each plinth bears the name and profile of one of history's most important poets, including Robert Graves, Gloria Fuertes, Pablo Neruda and Rosalía de Castro.
The path also harbours one of Europe´s biggest sculpture gardens, equally curated by Juan. In harmony with the plants and nature, a variety of sculptures made of different materials like bronze, terracotta, steel, Marés stone, iron and quartz.
Walk and Talk Art Tour
Immerse yourself in Deià´s expressive identity. Cecilie Sheridan, curator of the hotel’s collection, invented this interactive tour. Join her daughter Tara on this two-hour walk which guides you through parts of the hotel and the tranquil village of Deià where you will be introduced to local artists and their works.
